Purdue Krannert School of Management SHPE Scholarship

Krannert SHPE scholarship decisions will be communicated to recipients by March 1.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Students must submit an admission application to the Krannert School of Management by January 15. Krannert SHPE scholarship decisions will be communicated to recipients by March 1.
  2. Students must supply evidence of membership in the Society of Hispanic Engineers.

DESCRIPTION

Each year, at least one scholarship at Purdue’s Krannert School of Management will be awarded to a SHPE member. The selected recipient(s) will receive a $5000 scholarship for the first year of study. Selected students may also qualify for additional funding, based on the strength of the overall criteria outlined below.

ELIGIBILITY

Scholarship recipients will be selected using a holistic review process, which includes:

  • Admitted to one of the following full-time Krannert Master’s program:
    • MBA
    • Master of Science Degree in Human Resource Management program (MSHRM)
    • Master of Science in Industrial Administration (MSIA)
    • Weekend MBA
    • Executive MBA
    • International Master’s in Management (IMM)
  • Undergraduate and/or Master’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math
  • Cumulative GPA
  • GMAT score
  • Work experience through internships, co-op programs, military, or full-time career
  • Evidence of leadership qualities
  • Only domestic students are eligible for the scholarships described above. Domestic students include U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, permanent resident aliens, and aliens lawfully present in and able to establish domicile in the United States per federal immigration laws. International students who hold F, J, and some other visa types are not eligible.
  • Membership in the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
